The Role
Are you interested in joining a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth area in the organization where you can help drive software delivery excellence and influence change? Managed Accounts are a growing business in the financial services industry, and Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) is seeking a Scrum Master to help our advisor business be an industry leader in this emerging space. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem solving, continuous improvement, quality assurance and investment management.
As a Scrum Master on the SAT Account Management product area, you will lead multiple Scrum Teams through the agile delivery lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering leads to understand and help with backlog execution. You will work squads to ensure best agile practices are adopted, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and provide support via leaders who serve. You will be an integral part of the overall delivery lifecycle. You will have responsibility for release management coordination and participate in scaling events and activities as you facilitate interdependencies across squads and product areas. This position can be located in Raleigh, Boston Smithfield or Merrimack.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 4 years of experience in a scrum master role
- Strong proficiency and experience with Agile practices, processes, and artifacts
- Solid understanding of the analysis/development/testing project life cycle
- Experience leading Agile Scrum Teams
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft Excel
- Experience in delivering program status to senior executives
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
- You excel in facilitating agile team ceremonies and removing team impediments
- You are proficient in Jira and able to effectively apply Jira features to guide delivery
- You have a passion for continuous improvement, bring innovative thinking to your role, and help evolve the organizations practices and tools
- You are a strong contributor with a sense of ownership and a collaborative work style
- You are willing to go beyond core job responsibilities and take on new tasks within the overall team
- You can analyze, summarize, and present agile metric data
- You establish and maintain trusted relationships with technology partners
- You influence behavior without having organizational authority
