What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
