What you’ll be working on
Recruiting
Manage candidate logistics — examples: booking tickets, hotel reservations, candidate meals.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback to candidates
Office Operations
Coordinating payment with vendors
Hosting office visitors
Coordinating replenishment and setting up of office supplies, including employee meals
Onboarding new employees
Event planning and hosting
Liaising with building management (for repairs, logistics, cleaning etc.)
Take over any HR functions where necessary (e.g. open enrollment and necessary compliance or safety training)
Executive Assistant
Orchestrating executives schedules and helping them organize and track key meetings
Managing travel arrangements
Executive inbox management
Support and assistance to the executives on matters in Accounting, Legal and Finance
Co-ordinating between external entities and executives including regular check-ins, providing information as needed, and summarizing/highlighting key points
What we are looking for
A fast learner with strong writing skills
Excited about advancing human-machine partnership and have a willingness to do whatever it takes to make Essential successful
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with proactive thinking
Experience in BizOps (business operations) at a startup
Experience in management consulting in addition to at a startup
[Bonus] Prior experience as a Chief of Staff / Head of Ops at a startup
Note: This role requires full time onsite presence in SF and ideally, we are looking for someone with an immediate start date to fill the role
