Maintenance Leader - Crane Crew

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Associate EMRA – Crane Crew is intended to coordinate the maintenance and reliability of the cranes, monorails and jib hoists across the facility. This position will be responsible for working with the maintenance and operation leaders around the plant to ensure OSHA inspections and standards are met and upheld.

 

Responsibilities

• The operation, maintenance and repair of the plant crane systems including but not limited to overhead cranes, monorails, jibs and runways
• Mentor and supervise team of technicians and engineers that support the plant crane systems
• Execute projects and interface with contractors and vendors
• Collaborate with the various work teams in a Manufacturing Unit on issues such as; equipment down-time, reliability, planned maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist the Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability and Automation Leader with long term department planning and day to day operation of the maintenance team
• Maintain bill of materials, critical spares, inspection descriptions and asset care plans for all cranes
• Provide communication to production units and technical support to craftsman during breakdown events
• Ensure employee development, which includes coordination and participation in Skill Based Pay, annual employee review activities and continuous improvement opportunities
• Interact with operators, crafts, planners, schedulers, leadership, and engineers on a regular basis

• Prior Maintenance Leadership Experience
• Deep knowledge of:
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Predictive Maintenance
  • Team Based Management
  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
  • Reliability
  • RCFA
  • FMEA/Asset Care
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or a technical discipline
• Extensive experience will be given consideration in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Crane Systems

For this role, the annual salary starts at $109.000. Individual pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, and performance.
