Occupational Therapy Assistant - Part Time

HTS is currently hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team at two beautiful retirement communities situated in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Both facilities offer independent living, assisted living and memory care. One, located near Cascade and Ada, also offers respite care. The other, located in the Eastown neighborhood, offers skilled nursing and has a 5-Star Rating by CMS.
The OTA will treat patients at both facilities, with compensated mileage and drive time for travel between the two. Primarily Monday through Friday, this is currently a part-time position (fewer than 30 hours per week. This opportunity could transition to full-time with an OTA skilled at identifying residents who could benefit from therapy.

RequirementsApplicants must have an active Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Michigan license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
