Who you are:
As a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist IV, you are our loan experience champion. You’ll be responsible for preparing moderately complex commercial loan and lease documentation in accordance with approved memoranda to ensure proper lien completion and compliance. You’ll use your analytical skills, inquisitive mind, and detail-orientated approach to check for accuracy and stay up to date on laws and regulations to best serve our organization and customers. You welcome a challenge and strive to continuously improve processes with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate with outside counsel, title companies, surveyors, third party vendors and other parties in the preparation of loan documentation and closing of complex Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Secured loan transactions
- Coordinate with outside counsel in the review of title commitments, exceptions to titles, surveys and other related issues
- Review loan documents prepared by outside counsel for accuracy, completeness, and conformity with specific approved loan terms and compliance with internal bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory and legal requirements
- Act as a liaison between Lender, Bank Counsel, Borrower, and Borrower's Counsel during the negotiation of loan documents
- Advise Lender in the negotiation of loan documents and direct Lender for further concurrence approval requirements during the negotiation process
- Prepare and review loan-closing checklists to ensure all necessary items and fees are listed and provide checklists to title companies to assist in the preparation of settlement statements
- Review closed loan transactions for completeness and prepare packages for booking and funding
- Coordinate funding with Funding department, title companies, and Lenders
- Assist Lenders, ARM's, and Attorney Closing Assistants in clearing exceptions and with post-closing and imaging of loan packages
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years Commercial Real Estate experience
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of loans
- Ability to review and analyze Commercial Real Estate legal documents
