Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager at Our World Energy is responsible for leading and overseeing complex solar energy projects from initiation through completion. This role will work cross-functionally with internal departments, external partners, and customers to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project execution. The Senior Project Manager will be a critical leader in driving operational excellence and supporting the growth of our project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for residential and light commercial solar installations.
• Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple concurrent solar projects across different regions.
• Collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, installation, and customer service teams to ensure milestones are met.
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation plans to avoid delays or budget overruns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership and external stakeholders regarding project updates, status reports, and escalations.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, building codes, and local regulations.
• Track and manage project budgets, resources, and profitability metrics.
• Continuously assess and optimize project workflows and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers or coordinators.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Solar Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of project management experience in solar, construction, or energy industries.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
