MGH-High Input Heater Operator

The High Input Heater Operator will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Montgomery, AL

• Will be required to assemble Commercial water heaters and sub-assemblies of burners and components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Must be able to make sound judgments to ensure correct positioning of parts and tools.
• Must be able to use sound judgment in repairing or rejecting faulty parts.
• Must be self-directed and organized, requiring little supervision.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and MTMS.
• Must be able to interpret part prints and electrical schematics.
• Must be proficient in hand arc welding with a MIG welder and make weld adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Work from written or verbal orders.
• May be exposed to high noise levels, fumes and airborne particles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Forklift/Power Truck License
• Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs.
• Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs.
• Frequent strain due to position and unsupported lifting.
• Strain due to repetitive motions.
