About the team + role
Robinhood’s Credit Card Fraud & Risk team develops groundbreaking credit products, designs state of the art decision frameworks, and builds risk management systems that serve our customers. Our team seeks to push the boundaries of what credit products and experiences can look like.
We are actively seeking talented professionals with a demonstrated background in credit card or consumer lending fraud strategy to shape our vision, deliver smart financial solutions, and democratize finance. As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing fraud risk for the Robinhood Gold Card. Your work will span all fraud vectors including application fraud, transaction fraud, ATO, and payment fraud.

What you’ll do
- Develop rules and policies for fraud detection, prevention, and loss mitigation across the credit card lifecycle
- Develop comprehensive monitoring and analysis suites that helps identify actionable insights and new strategies to improve business performance
- Explore and evaluate third party tools to improve fraud strategy outcomes
- Influence and partake in cross-functional collaborations to drive key product features and strategies
- Design tests to refine product and credit strategy
- Communicate performance and strategy with senior leadership as well as external stakeholders
What you bring
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- No less than four years of experience managing fraud defenses across the customer lifecycle for consumer credit products
- Hands-on experience with SQL / R/ Python (Pandas, Scikitlearn etc.)
- Experience in designing and interpreting randomized testing frameworks
- Experience in managing fraud defenses that leverage model scores
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex programs and focus on key areas of leverage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
