In this position... 
 
What you'll do...

  • Collaborating with Hardware Engineers, PCB Designers and the Mechanical Engineering Lead to engineer and design mechanical parts and assemblies for Vehicle Electronic Modules
  • Design Vehicle Mounting Brackets for various Electronic Modules
  • Work with Vehicle Packaging Engineers to ensure Module Packaging Specifications are followed in vehicle mounting/placement of the Module

You'll have... 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in a product design environment
  • 15+ years of experience using a 3D CAD Tool – (Catia Preferred)

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years of experience designing mechanical components.
  • Experience with electronic cooling
  • Ability to create 2D prints using GD&T
  • Experience with Catia 3D Solid Modeling Software
  • Experience with Team Center
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PPT, Word...)
  • Demonstrated team player as well as self-motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, internal and external teams.
  • Comfortable with traveling domestically and internationally to work with suppliers of Mechanical Components
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to modify/re-work parts with basic prototyping tools (end mill, band saw, drill press, etc…)
