Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Java, Full-stack Lead to join our team of bright thinkers and doers; create and own the technical vision of the project and guide the development, design, user interface, technology integration, and site architecture. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching people and providing technology-related thought leadership.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Prefer local candidates to DC, MD, VA
• Application open to ONLY U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents
• Must be eligible to obtain U.S. Government Clearance (Public Trust)
• 7+ yrs of development exp in Java 8+, knowledge of the latest Java 9 features
• Exp with Multi-threading, Collections
• Thorough exp writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage (JUnit, Mockito, etc.) 
• Working exp with various CI/CD tools 
• Working exp with data platforms (relational and/or NoSQL) and messaging technologies 
• Working exp with MVC frameworks like Spring, etc.
• Working exp with web services (REST, SOAP) and exp in Microservices 
• Deep knowledge of OOPs, data structure, and algorithm 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Exp in one or more front-end development technologies
• Understanding and exp with building cloud-native applications
• Understanding & exp creating API using Swagger 
• Exp in TDD/ BDD
• Exp in Scrum/ Agile
• Understanding of various infrastructures (on-premise, cloud)

Additional Information

Annual Pay Range: 123,000 - 153,500 USD

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skillset required for the work.
