JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our dynamic multidisciplinary team of talented and dedicated therapists provides hands-on, one to one, evidence-based clinical care. Responsibilities for the staff occupational therapist include management of patients with a variety of diagnoses that impact their functional and/or cognitive status to maximize the patient’s recovery, minimize disability and enhance quality of life. In our clinic, OT is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides coordinated visits through our falls program and The Comprehensive Pain Program. This position also supports our preventative works assessment program for UVM Medical Center employees.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelors of Science (or higher) degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice occupational therapy in the State of Vermont.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of experience ideal – work with patients with chronic conditions preferred
- Training in ergonomics preferred or willingness to become trained
