Finance Manager - Customer Profitability

Job Brief (Purpose): 

As part of the Reporting & Profitability team within Finance Enablement, responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Managing several work efforts of the Workday Customer Profitability project, which includes the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of a new customer profitability data model and reporting suite in Workday
• Leading support of the current customer profitability application by delivering critical improvements to the current application (Oracle OFSAA & OBIEE) and coordinating the migration of the user community off the current application and onto the new solution (Workday/Tableau)
• Collaborating with teammates across Finance, Analytics, and the Lines of Business, from analysts to senior leadership, during the project timeframe and beyond to ensure consistent delivery of accurate and insightful customer profitability reporting

Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with colleagues across Finance, Analytics, Lines of Business, and Technology on the buildout of the Workday Accounting Center and Workday Finance Data Hub with additional product data, as well as the implementation of critical improvements to the current application
• Translate stakeholder profitability data and reporting needs to technical requirements and communicate those requirements to the technology data squad and Product Owner
• Perform data / process validations and provide client support throughout the testing phase of the Customer Profitability project
• Conduct meetings or working sessions with line of business profitability stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve their reporting needs, in partnership with Analytics teams
• Prioritize ongoing profitability-related work efforts related to the current application and the new solution, demonstrating the ability to participate simultaneously on multiple work efforts and high priority activities
• Research complex data, process, and reporting issues and effectively summarize findings and recommendations for next steps
• Work independently and as part of team to offer and implement solutions to achieve optimal business outcomes for profitability work efforts

• Develop thorough understanding of Key’s foundational financial systems, products, and businesses and apply this knowledge to the new Customer Profitability solution
• Perform impact analysis on new accounting and regulatory requirements as well as internal change requests to assess impact on new and existing profitability data / reporting
• Proactively work to continuously improve profitability processes and reporting

Required Qualifications/Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data & Analytics, or related field
• 10+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or Related Field
• Strong financial and/or accounting acumen, including analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience dealing with complex and large data sets from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting processes
• Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy, and details
• Interest, willingness, and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly
• Action-oriented; takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
• Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively, often with limited direction
• Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards are achieved - ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively

• Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross-functional team projects
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
