In this role, the Analytics Data Delivery Lead will partner with our analytic and business teams, as well as solution architects to:

  • Design, build and maintain enterprise level enriched data products using dbt and SQL, based on requirements from analytics program owners and business teams; develop while adhering to design and coding standards, SDLC practices and data governance protocols
  • Create technical documentation of and metadata about the data products that you build and maintain that will supplement the documentation created by analytics program owners or other business owners; work with those same analytics and business owners to create user communications as needed for new or enhanced products
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise in the contextual data area where you focus; become the “go-to” person for everything data related in your context area
  • Along with solution architects, create and maintain coding standards and change control procedures to be used across the Analytics Data Enablement team

The Analytics Data Delivery Lead will design and build the highest quality, most relevant enriched data products for our business.  You will work with analytics, business and technology team members and leaders to define, develop, and deliver actionable data that drives our operations and analytic insights, serving multiple stakeholders. VillageMD sees the ability to improve patient outcomes, deliver better care, lower unnecessary cost and utilization, and provide more complete clinical documentation based on actionable data products as a critical part of its strategy to transform primary care.  This position will allow you to use your extensive knowledge of your context area to ensure the highest quality and most innovative products based on that data.

How you can make a difference:

  • Create state of the art enriched data products that support our business while adhering to coding, change control and documentation standards that ensure the scalability and usability of the solutions being built
  • Build and communicate a vision for data products and how they fit into the overall company strategy
  • Take complete ownership of all enrichment data products for your contextual data area of focus and maintain a deep, thorough understanding of the use cases, data sources, processing, and data structures associated with those data products
  • Learn a new facet of our business model and help design data products to support that operational area

Experience to drive change:

  • 5-7 years data analysis, architecture, engineering or related work (healthcare data experience required)
  • Strong knowledge of data and analytics concepts and dbt or SQL
  • Basic data modeling expertise
  • Ability to drive meaningful insights with incomplete data
  • Strong capabilities in analytics tools such as Tableau, advanced Excel, or equivalent
