Server - Seasonal

This position will be responsible for ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging guests, maintaining solid product knowledge, providing assistance, and making suggestions to guests regarding product decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Greets all guests and provides outstanding customer service
• Will assist guests with cash, room, and credit card transactions
• Performs food-handling and service duties
• Answers questions relating to all F&B products
• Serving guests in pool areas, indoors in the restaurant, and completing multiple deliveries of food orders throughout the property
• Any other tasks that may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED
• Cash-handling experience preferred
• Serving experience with a sense of urgency and accuracy

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Food Handler's and an alcohol awareness card are required within 30 days of employment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience
• Minimum one year of serving experience required, more is a plus
• Food delivery experience desired
• Must have superior guest relations skills and the ability to answer guest inquiries
• Must have the ability to be trained on cash handling functions and be comfortable using POS computers for inputting transactions
• Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have comprehensive menu knowledge with the ability to up-sell items
• Must be able to clearly speak, write, and understand the English language
• Must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand work environment
• Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
