This position will be in Azusa CA supporting manufacturing for cable assembly line, machine Shop, and Integration.
Job Description:
- Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
- Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinates inter-departmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.

- Complete understanding and application of production control principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Full knowledge of industry practices.
- May refer to established precedents and policies.
- Plan schedules and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives.
- Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
- Interacts with senior internal personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional departments

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant work experience in operations and production scheduling or 8-12 (In lieu of degree) years of relevant work experience in operations planning and production scheduling.
- Experience in MS Office Applications
- Ability to maintain a security clearance
- I must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience planning in an ERP system & familiar with the MRP process
- Must be a US citizen
- CPIM- Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (Preferred)
