Summary

This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks throughout each of the four production departments in the bakery. Partners will be assigned to a position on a day-to-day basis dependent on where the need is greatest at the time. Training will be provided in each of the positions that the partner will be responsible for. The partner will have a 90-day period to show progress in their training efforts in the positions they have been placed in and may receive additional trainings in the positions listed below after the initial 90-day period.

These positions are all an essential part of our operation. All personnel are required to not deviate from the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Partners will be trained in our GMP, Food Safety and Personnel Safety policies and practices that ensure the safety of our partners, consumers and a quality end product.

Once partners learn the operational requirements listed above, they will continue to be trained in additional tasks in each production departments as time allows.  Cross departmental training is a vital part of the DKB culture.

Desired Experience

• Two (2) or more years of related experience.

 

• Keep up with the flow of production and timelines given in bake schedules.
• Follow instructions, respond positively to training, coaching and execute all applicable Standard Operating Procedures accurately.
• Be flexible and maintain confidence when changes arise.
• Work successfully with a team.
• Learn and perform sanitation tasks during scheduled down time.

Desired Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to operate machines in a safe manner.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
