Are you passionate about expanding access to education and shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity? The School of Business & Professional Studies at the University of Massachusetts Global is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven faculty member to join our fully remote academic community starting August 1, 2026 This full-time appointment is anticipated at the Assistant Professor level, with consideration for Associate Professor based on experience.

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, or other closely related field.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ACBSP standards.
  • Minimum three years of demonstrated success teaching in an online asynchronous learning environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering current, market-relevant, and engaging curriculum, assessments, and learning activities in an online-first LMS.
  • Experience applying data-informed approaches to enhance student success and retention.
  • Ability to engage collegially and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and professionals across disciplines.
  • Committed to cultivating a workplace culture grounded in respect, openness, and constructive dialogue.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, or other closely related field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications:
    • Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, CySA+, or GIAC).
    • Artificial Intelligence (e.g., cloud AI/ML, AI governance, or AI security credentials such as AWS/Azure/Google ML, IAPP AIGP, ISC2 AI, or GIAC MLAT)
  • Experience designing programs aligned with CAE, ABET, or NICE guidelines.
  • Current industry or applied experience in digital transformation, AI/ML, security operations, cloud security, governance/risk/compliance, or penetration testing.
  • Involvement in related professional and academic associations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, support, and train adjuncts in an online environment.
