Job Summary
7a-7:30p; rotating weekends and holidaysThe Shift Charge Nurse has authority, responsibility, and accountability to provide clinical and administrative leadership on her/his shift.
This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?

Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts]
- Basic Life Support [BLS] certification required
Experience
Three (3) years current experience in relevant clinical specialty required
Current experience must be within two years of hire into the Shift Charge position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated excellent leadership skills and clinical competence in area of responsibility required.
