Part-Time Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate (20-25 hours) to help maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has great attention to detail, and wants to be part of the growing renewable energy industry. This role is located in our San Luis Obispo shop, and requires work M-F, with ideal hours between 12:30-5pm. 

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Track, organize, and maintain solar panels, inverters, mounting hardware, and other solar components.
• Shipping & Receiving: Accept deliveries, inspect incoming shipments, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Stocking & Organization: Keep warehouse shelves stocked, labeled, and organized for easy access.
• Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare solar equipment for installation teams.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety within the warehouse space.
• Equipment Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).

Requirements

• Experience: Prior warehouse or inventory management experience preferred but not required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
• Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift Certification (Preferred): If not certified, must be willing to undergo training. 

This part time role pays between $20-$23.50 per hour, and is eligible to partake in Photon Brothers' 401k plan with company match, as well as partake in free Teledoc (general medical and mental health) sessions.
