Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required, an emphasis in accounting or finance is preferred. Graduate degree is preferred
• CPA or CIA is required
• Series 7 and 66 are required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Ten or more years of progressive, professional experience is required (public accounting and/or large corporate internal audit experience is preferred) with at least four years of people leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, COSO, AICPA, IIA and other professional standards
• Broker dealer, trust and banking financial, operational and compliance risk and controls
• Technologically savvy and current with emerging technology trends
• Experience in evaluating risk to scope audit work and to evaluate findings
• Significant experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and other SOC1 reviews
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills are required
• Experience in utilizing data analysis tools to perform audit work is preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills are required

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.  Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing.
