Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of an assigned shift within our M+H production zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production activities align with the production plan, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control daily activities within the production zone, ensuring adherence to production plans and deadlines.
  • Plan, review, and approve daily attendance records; assign and direct work accordingly.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet customer schedules and shipment requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with M+H quality procedures and all customer requirements throughout the production process.
  • Support the RPS/8D process in collaboration with the Production Manager to maintain quality standards; participate in RPS discussions/meetings.
  • Oversee the quality approval process with Quality Inspectors and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the production area, adhering to the 5S Process and Production Basics.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Manage the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) process to prevent loss and damage of machines and equipment.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of changeovers and machine setups.
  • Coordinate setup processes in accordance with pre-defined schedules.
  • Manage and update documentation related to production activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, sustainability issues, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with ISO / TS / EMS standards.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business education preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including KanBan, Takt Time, and Visual Work Instructions.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt/One piece flow/Pull/5S).
  • Familiarity with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage formulas, spreadsheets, and use Microsoft Word.
  • Self-starter with a disciplined approach to work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift with weekly overtime as required.
