Our SBB MoneyMovement and Mobile teams seek to deliver a unified digital experience for customers exploring offers and to continuously iterate and improve on our solution during our launch. This candidate will have the opportunity and freedom to contribute to user experience, architecture optimization, and design conversations. Additionally, they will collaborate with engineers across multiple lines of business and teams to bring transformational capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
Lead overall technical design, development, modification, and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms for web and Mobile
Analyze internal user needs and desired results and develop software solutions with responsibility for the delivery of software applications
Assist teams to develop iOS and Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles
Coordinate the work of project teams along multiple work streams
Develop complex applications using Java, Spring, Maven, Docker, GitHub, AWS, and Jenkins
Provide guidelines for all technologies related to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries, etc.)
Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from the broader team
Document design decisions and develop software components, adhering to existing process guidelines
Coordinate software installation and monitor implementation process
Monitor software performance trends and identify potential issues
Own change management process for assigned configuration items
Present complex IT concepts and project metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences
Identify opportunities for improvement
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 8 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Spring
4+ years of experience with AWS
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
2+ years of mobile development experience (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries)
