About the role

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Benefits Analyst to join our growing team.

 

The Role:

 

The Sr. Benefits Analyst is an integral member of the JELD-WEN Benefits team.  The Sr Benefits Analyst will manage all aspects of all US Health and Wellbeing Benefit Programs such as Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, EAP, Life and AD&D Insurance programs. This is a team-oriented role with a focus on project management, continuous improvement and evaluating benefit programs.

This position is based in Charlotte, NC and reports to the Sr. Benefits Manager. The default work schedule for this position will be 5 days per week in the office with plenty of flexibility for remote work as needed.

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • Manage and function as subject matter expert for all JELD-WEN Health and Wellbeing benefit programs.
  • Lead and evaluate RFPs, renewals, vendors, new benefits options and benefit plan design changes and make recommendations to Management.
  • Manage vendor implementations and benefit program coordination to ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery.
  • Manage the coordination and planning of all aspects of Open Enrollment.
  • Actively support the comprehensive benefits communication plan. Contribute to creation and delivery of benefits communication.
  • Work with benefits team, internal partners, and external vendors to ensure administration processes and systems work efficiently and effectively. 
  • Complete all compliance and control reporting requirements.
  • Member of the Benefits Appeal Committee.
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with benefits team and vendors to resolve escalated customer service issues.

 

Who You Are:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with equivalent related work experience in Benefits Administration.
  • CEBS, CBP and/or PHR preferred

 

How You Stand Out:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of proven success working in benefits administration for large employers with various geographic locations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of plan design features, cost and healthcare trends.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude demonstrating progressive experience working with benefits admin
