Key Responsibilities

• Leading and mentorship of junior staff while managing the completion of multiple roadway design tasks.
• Coordination with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Opportunity to be mentored and ultimately take on responsibilities as a Project Manager.
• Preparation of accurate presentation, design, and construction document details.
• Preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to agencies having jurisdiction.
• Coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors and other parties associated with the project.
• Development and adherence to project scope, schedules and budgets.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in all aspects of roadway design
• Experience in people management or supervision
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred
• PE certification is preferred
• Detail-oriented individual wtih strong technical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in standard industry software including MS Office
• Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
