<h3>Your Responsibilities</h3>
<ul><li>Research, develop and productize ML models for distributed energy system including optimized aggregation, clustering, dispatch concepts and forecasting</li><li>Implement, deliver and monitor well-engineered data science solutions in our real-time production system.</li><li>Contribute to define our data science roadmap, and help shape our next generation algorithms.</li><li>Promote technical excellence, advocate for ML and coding best practices, contribute to our open, data-driven engineering culture, and mentor junior data scientists.</li><li>Build, iterate, deploy and maintain code from inception to completion.</li></ul>
<h3>Your Profile</h3>
<span><strong><span>Mandatory Requirements</span></strong></span><ul><li>University degree in Computer Science or Statistics, with main focus on Machine Learning.</li><li>5+ years industry experience in Machine Learning time series forecasting, or in data science applied to the energy sector or complex distributed systems.</li><li>Proficiency in software development and software practices (e.g. testing, code quality, monitoring), with strong expertise in Python.</li><li>Proven experience in delivering and monitoring machine learning artifacts in production</li><li>Experience working in AWS</li><li>Proven record of mentoring junior data scientists, leading them to contribute to the organization’s financial performance</li><li>Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>You enjoy solving problems and sparring ideas in a cross-functional team with our data scientists, software engineers, product managers and business developers</li></ul><span><strong>Skills to Set You Apart</strong></span><ul><li>Industry experience in Deep Learning</li><li>Experience in Linear and Stochastic Optimization</li><li>Work experience in energy trading or similar fields</li></ul><em><span>At Flexa, we are committed to diversity - of backgrounds and experiences.
