Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: As a Production Planner for Medical Products, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient availability of materials to meet patient and healthcare provider needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Production plans, managing inventory levels, and overseeing production planning and kitting activities. Your role will involve coordinating with Production Supervisors, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of work orders across a diverse range of machines.
- Develop and maintain Production plans to meet forecasted demand for medical products.
- Releasing and Printing Work Orders per the Schedule and publishing Schedule Attainment.
- Collaborate with the Demand Planning and Buyers to integrate supply plans with overall business goals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Maintain Inventory control by performing cycle counts per schedule and investigating the Variances.
- Assist Material Handlers as necessary and directed by supervisor.
