Our work depends on Senior Contracts Administrator joining our team to provide support and counsel to our program and proposal teams while ensuring GDIT's compliance with contractual terms and conditions and applicable law.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Conducts negotiation and administration of government contracts
  • Provides advice on contract terms and conditions and applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Interacts with program managers, finance staff, subcontract professionals and others in a highly collaborative environment to ensure compliance and mission success
  • Collaborates with other Contracts team members as needed for guidance and camaraderie
  • Administers contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery
  • Reviews solicitation requests
  • Coordinates contract requirement fulfillment with programs
  • Provides contractual support in proposal development and submission
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead

YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related experience in Contracts Administration is required.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in Contracts Administration
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Security Clearance Level: None required
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and processes. Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, and regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with negotiation and administration of Government contracts. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective presentation, communication, and business writing skills.

The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
