We are primarily an onsite company, and request that employees spend a majority of their week in our Lehi, UT office.

About the role:

As a Software Engineer at Leland, you will directly contribute to our core marketplace offering and drive product development alongside a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product, design, and other engineers to build Leland’s core products

• Build and maintain foundational pieces of Leland’s infrastructure

• Propose innovative ideas and shape a product that will surprise and delight customers and drive business results

• Write high-quality, performant code

• Ensure product quality through comprehensive testing and rigorous code reviews

• Contribute to our team culture by fostering an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative environment 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack software engineer at a leading technology company

• Extensive experience working with web applications, JavaScript (TypeScript), GraphQL, Java

• Excellent engineering and coding skills

• Comfortable tackling ambitious problems and unblocking yourself

• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Team player, desire to mentor and the career and development of others

• BS in Computer Science / MIS (or similar technical degree) or equivalent work-related experience
