Job Title: Sr. SQL Server Application Developer
Location: AZ (100% Remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. SQL Server Application Developer with extensive experience in developing applications on SQL Server. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in writing complex stored procedures and T-SQL language, with a proven track record of performance optimization. While this role emphasizes SQL development, familiarity with .NET-based projects is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Not looking for Database or ETL developers. Looking for a application developer.
- Develop and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Client has thousands of old stored procedures and those needs to be re-written for better performance
- Must be a strong analytical resource to advice key changes and implement the same.
- Optimize and rewrite existing complex stored procedures for application enhancements.
- Perform thorough analysis and troubleshooting of SQL-related issues.
- Provide support and guidance to other developers and team members.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex stored procedures.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server Application Development.
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing and rewriting stored procedures for application enhancement.
- Experience in .NET-based projects (though .NET development experience is not required).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience with State Child Support systems is highly preferred.
