Production & Inventory Control Intern

As a Production and Inventory Control Intern, you'll play a vital role in enhancing our operational efficiency by assisting with the identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements. Working closely with our Production and Inventory Control, Engineering, Customer Care and OPS teams, you'll engage in process mapping, data analysis, and root cause analysis to drive impactful changes across various departments. In additional to the exposure to Lean Six Sigma Methodologies, this internship offers valuable hands-on experience in process improvement methodologies, allowing you to contribute directly to the success of our organization. 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Dive into process analysis: Collaborate with experienced professionals to map out existing processes, pinpoint bottlenecks, and uncover hidden inefficiencies.
• Drive data-driven improvement: Analyze process performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend actionable solutions informed by data.
• Be a change agent: Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, employing Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
• Promote best practices: Contribute to the creation and revision of process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, visual management tools) to ensure consistency and sustainability of improvements.
• Measure and refine: Track the results of implemented improvements, analyze key metrics, and suggest further enhancements to enhance gains.
• Learn and grow: Attend training sessions and workshops to build your process improvement knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

  For This Role, You Will Need:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and find opportunities for improvement. 
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
   

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
