Licensed Electrician

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Licensed Electricians for projects located in and around Newell, WV. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $44/hour based on experience & skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Installation, maintenance, repairing, & troubleshooting of electrical raceways, systems, conductors, fixtures, & equipment 
• Plan route handle; fabricate & install from plans & specifications of complete electrical raceway systems at both grade & elevated locations 
• Fabricate & install raceway supports
• Install conductors utilizing both manual and mechanical wire pulling techniques including termination & tagging
• Fabricate & install electrical/instrument junction boxes and terminate multi-conductor cables utilizing plans and specifications
• Establish an electrically safe work condition per ISC electrical policies
• Coordinate simple & complex lock out tag out
• Install & remove temporary protective grounding systems
• Install & terminate switchgear MCC batteries, battery charges, transformers, motors, terminal cabinets, & circuit breakers
• Utilize electrical test equipment including V.O.M amp meters & insulation testers
• Maintain and repair electrical wiring
• Route wire
• Assemble terminal boxes and main control switch panels
• Measure, cut, & bend EMT conduit, pipe, cable tray, switch gear, & duct bank raceways
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have WV License or Journeyman Level Reciprocal to WV
• Ability to Read Blueprints
