We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Risk Audit Analytics with a strong background in data analytics and reporting processes. The role has a primary mandate as an individual contributor to provide advanced data analytics support to Enterprise Risk’s - Credit Risk Review audit function.  This position is embedded within U.S. Retail Credit Risk’s - Risk Analytics Architecture, a technical group that supports a much broader mandate of data, reporting, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced data analytics and reporting support to the Credit Risk Review function

• Oversee Risk Analytics Architecture’s data governance processes including leading engagement with enterprise data governance

• Act as a subject matter expert by providing oversight of and input into all of Risk Analytics Architecture’s control processes

• Provide secondary analytics and reporting support to the larger Retail Credit Risk function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred

• 10+ years of experience in banking/financial services, with at least 5+ years specifically in or supporting an audit/control function.

• Demonstrated experience with internal audit procedures and control frameworks

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SQL/SAS, Excel advanced functions, Power BI, Tableau)

• Advanced understanding of data governance and data quality principles

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of banking regulations related to lending

• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail

• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills

• SQL and database knowledge; SAS preferred

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VBA, complex formulas)

• Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or displayed ability to learn new tools

Salary:

$110,000.00 - $204,100.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
