Job Title: Clinical Learning Specialist (Special Projects)

Summary

Zeiders Enterprises is seeking a Clinical Learning Specialist to join the CNIC Division as part of the Professional Development and Training Team. This team supports government contracts delivering quality of life programming to service members. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional systems design, Articulate and Storyline e-learning authorware, working with teams in a matrixed environment, taking a consultative approach to training planning with internal and external clients, knowledge of the military lifestyle and/or community, and platform training experience (both in-person and virtual). Must be agile and adaptable, able to propose and execute tasks, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This individual will be a part of a virtual team in a telework environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Instructional systems design for live and synchronous instructor-led training and on-demand e-learning development
  • Delivering training via webinar technologies
  • Using standard instructional design practices and protocols to produce courseware, to include instructor guides and learner materials
  • Incorporating learner-centered graphics into training design
  • Consulting with internal and external customers to determine training needs
  • Collaborating with team members
  • Complying with standard corporate and contract requirements such as timekeeping, standard operating procedures, and ethics
  • Contributing to the ongoing professional development of all team members.

Required Qualifications:

The Clinical Learning Specialist will work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Contracts Portfolio Manager and Project Managers to maintain project schedules for Desk Guide/Curriculum Development, online Professional Training and Development Services.  Qualifications include:

  • Minimum educational qualifications include one of the following; a master’s degree in counseling accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs; a master’s degree in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education, or a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and a one-year clinical internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.
  • Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license or certification from a state or U.S. territory authorizing independent clinical practice in the fields of professional counseling, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy or clinical/counseling psychology- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCP (Licensed Clinical Psychologist/ Licensed PhD in Psychology), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCPC (Licensed Certified Professional Counselor), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor).
  • Familiarity with Navy Counseling and Advocacy Programs to include FAP VA, SAPR, SAIL and clinical content areas.
  • Ability to write instructional curriculum using industry standard Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience training and facilitating in a virtual environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with military family support programs.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Must possess Superior writing skills to produce commercially, published level products.
  • High comfort level with the use of technology for communication and task completion.
  • Familiarity with web-based instruction and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to function as a trainer/facilitator for Webinar sessions.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience and understanding of being part of a virtual team.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and customers, to include using online collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Articulate and Storyline e-learning authorware.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and/or instructional design specifically using the ADDIE model accepted by the National Association of Training and Development.
  • Experience with production schedules and demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines.
