The Materials Planner is a key contributor to ensure the right level of compliance between several indicators related to inventory management, supplier performance, capacity and delivery accomplishment providing inputs to the continuous improvement in Planning processes with global and local partners and across different types of purchased materials.

Core Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the packaging materials are available in the factory when they are required, by programming the materials’ deliveries in alignment with the production plan to make it feasible.
  • To determine and maintain the optimal inventory and safety stock levels minimizing excess and obsolescence, by analyzing the materials requirements, lead times, the expected service level and potential risks, to ensure production coverage
  • Develop, implement and track the parameters and ordering process of specific materials to adjust material delivery schedule according to Production Plan changes.
  • Build continuous improvement activities to develop efficiencies, cost optimization and agility in planning processes, materials transportation, inventory utilization and contribute to Suppliers ‘management

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, or similar in the field of Supply Chain and manufacturing. Have experience with multinational companies or working with international teams.
  • 1+ yrs of experience in Materials and Inventory Management and basic on Supply chain.
  • Excel at advanced and SAP is a must. Power BI is desirable.
  • Experience in Materials and Inventory Management and basic on Supply chain.
  • Analytical skills, good communication and partner management.

The salary for this position has a range of $73,703 - $110,555 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
