About the role

Job Summary:

The Aftermarket Project Manager will successfully manage aftermarket programs and STC projects required to enhance the value and keep the fleet of Falcon Jet aircraft technologically up to date with current industry standards. Responsibilities include managing multiple programs throughout the entire project life cycle and completing the projects on time and within budget

Principal Duties:

Document and maintain STC creation to implementation process

Maintain EASA STC approval process

Create business plans to support tentative projects

Monitor/document active projects progress against plan

Liaise with internal and external participants/contractors to ensure project targets are being met

Assist with identification and implementation of departmental strategic sales campaigns

Identify, via completion drawings, installation of pre-identified obsolete components to determine feasibility of creating a component replacement STC

Review existing Dassault Modifications to determine feasibility of using information to create a SB, STC or TI

Determine product marketability and analyze market competitiveness

Research existing Dassault Falcon Jet STCs to provide sufficient details to classify them as Obsolete or Marketable

Create, implement and manage surveys to identify customer demand for concept STCs

Identify/manage active and concept STC Supply Chain requirements

Represent Department in M&O sessions

Non-Principal Duties:

Create and maintain processes specific to Department’s functionality

Work with DFJC Marketing to promote STC Sales

Special projects related to STCs and mods of aircraft as assigned by Management

Identify potential STC projects

Minimum Qualifications:

BS degree in an aviation discipline or equivalent experience

Five (5) years of experience in aircraft industry

Three (3) years demonstrated successful project management skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent people skills

Detail oriented

Computer skills

Additional Desired Qualifications:

French language proficiency

Working Conditions:

Office environment

Domestic and international travel when necessary to accomplish responsibilities (10% travel)

Occasionally inspect aircraft in hangar and components in vendor service shops

Work overtime as required to accomplish tasks

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $100,000 and $115,000 per year.  This position is not eligible for overtime.  Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, and geographic location.
