Job Description Summary
The Aeroderivative Systems Engineering Product Leader is a critical role within the Systems Engineering team, responsible for delivering industry-leading gas turbine generator (GTG) products aligned with GE Vernova’s mission. This role leads with purpose and resilience to ensure the product meets Aeroderivative business line technical objectives throughout the entire lifecycle. The Engineering Product Leader oversees design, development, verification, and validation efforts while driving strategic product improvement planning, requirements management, and program execution.This position requires action-oriented leadership to partner closely with GE Vernova’s Aero Services and Gas Turbine Engineering teams to industrialize aeroderivative spare parts, fostering collaboration and innovation. The leader will demonstrate courage and accountability, advocating for safety, quality, and integrity in all decisions.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the single point of technical leadership and accountability for the assigned GTG product line, communicating timely and purposefully with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Own the technical strategy, risk management, and execution for the product lifecycle, demonstrating resilience in dynamic environments.
Lead large, cross-functional and cross-business teams (including Aviation and Aero Alliance JV) with courage to innovate and challenge current practices, managing programs with budgets up to $50M.
Collaborate inclusively with Product Service Engineering and Gas Turbine Engineering to industrialize spare parts, leveraging diverse perspectives to enhance product competitiveness.
Partner with Product Line Leadership, ITR Engineering, Design, Sales, and Global Supply Chain teams to define and maintain multi-generation product plans.
Analyze competitor capabilities to inform technical strategy and maintain product market leadership.
Provide technical leadership in field issue resolution, championing quality and driving continuous improvement through preventative actions and lessons learned.
Define scope, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation plans to meet technical requirements, demonstrating judgment and accountability in proposal activities beyond quoting limits.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Significant technical experience in gas turbine, accessories, plant, or controls engineering
Desired Characteristics
Strong knowledge of gas turbine equipment with demonstrated technical capability.
Practical experience with Aeroderivative product development.
