We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What You Will Do:

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

• The Systems Engineer will serve as a Network Development Engineer supporting build out and deployments to the operational environment as necessary. The candidate will work within an agile scrum team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

• Previous experience working in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC Program.

• Experience planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• DODI 8570 Requirement: IAT - Level II.

Technical Skills Required:

• Hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies

• Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF. Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Firewall experience - especially Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Must have experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs

• Hands on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment

• Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks

• Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with network automation using Ansible

• Experience working with Missile Defense Agency

• Previous experience on the C2BMC Program
