APD’s Developmental Disabilities Defendant Program (DDDP) Overview

 DDDP is a forensic facility working with individuals with disabilities in a secure setting that operates on the campus of Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, FL, where the campus and facilities are tobacco free.  

Pathways is a 34-bed all male forensic facility working with individuals with disabilities in a secure setting.  These individuals have been adjudicated by the courts as incompetent to proceed to trial and have significant behavioral and psychiatric issues.  Pathways provides rehabilitative, vocational, and daily living skills training to the individuals served which allows for a smooth transition back into a non-secure residential or community setting.

SALARY RANGE

 $1,598.00- $1,735.00 Bi-weekly 

 

Position Summary 

Working hours: FLEXIBLE -Routine hours are established as 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST with flexible working hours to conduct weekly religious services on weekends and evening hours to meet the needs of the program.

 

The Work You Will Do 

  •           Provide pastoral care and emotional support for residents and staff up to and including daily interactions with residents. Prepares, coordinates and conducts weekly religious/worship services for residents at DDDP and Pathways. Offer reflective, non-judgmental listening to individuals. Develop and foster connections with residents and team members. Educate residents on services available from chaplain.
