Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for guiding and overseeing one or more teams of marketing communication professionals, including staffing, workflow, and budget management. The role plays a pivotal role in leading development of marketing communications strategies, policies, and standards while ensuring the alignment of marketing program strategies with the organization's brand image and objectives. Additionally, the role contributes as a senior business leader, driving innovation in marketing communications principles, leading integrated marketing campaigns, holding accountability for functional budgets, and taking charge of talent management responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Guides one or more teams of marketing communication professionals, directing their day-to-day operations including management of staffing, workflow, and budget.
• Overlooks setting of marketing communications strategies, policies, standards, and direction across the team.
• Provides guidance on the development and execution of marketing program strategies that support the overall brand image and objectives of the organization.
• Oversees creation of a world-class marketing communications cost structure, operations, and execution quality and improves marketing communications efficiencies through process, tools, and collaboration.
• Contributes as a senior business leader, proactively counselling senior-level management on critical marketing communications elements.
• Drives the development and adoption of innovative marketing communications principles and ideas across the team.
• Guides and leads a team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that include digital marketing, advertising, events, and content marketing.
• Owns accountability for the management of functional budgets, ensuring they stay within estimated limits, and selects, manages, develops, and motivates agencies and other business partners.
• Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.


Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in direct marketing, communications, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is $146,650 to $225,850 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
