JOB SUMMARY
The HealthySteps Supervisor supports the effective function of the HealthySteps Specialists in a primary care clinic. This role is key in creating a collaborative relationship with the pediatric clinic partners and medical champion to ensure the fidelity of the HealthySteps program guidelines. Responsible for working with the VP of Early Childhood Initiatives and leadership team to review processes, services, and outcomes for efficiency and effectiveness.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides direction and support for HealthySteps program implementation and initiatives, including growth and sustaining the pediatric clinic relationships.
- Provides direct supervision and guidance to HealthySteps Specialists who are embedded in pediatric and family medicine clinics. Standardizes and streamlines operations and coordinates and oversees implementation of universal patient screening.
- Engages staff in reflective supervision to enhance their reflective practice.
- Establishes relationships with clinic providers, department administrators, and the national HealthySteps program sponsor.
- Represents the HealthySteps program to funding partner leadership as well as community organizations with whom we may collaborate. Identifies community engagement opportunities.
- Collaborates with clinic site’s data sources, HealthySteps Data Consultant, VP of Early Childhood Intiatives and HealthySteps Specialists to collect data needed for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Oversees implementation and use of the Welly software system used for daily patient data entry.
- Works with HealthySteps Program Manager and VP of Early Childhood Initiatives to review and improve HealthySteps program processes, ensuring necessary and efficient design to align staff and policies, and maximize productivity and high-quality services.
- Identifies and coordinates professional development opportunities for HealthySteps Specialists. Supports resident and provider education initiatives within each clinical practice. Develops quality improvement projects to provide consistent growth and program enhancement.

- Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Early Childhood Initiatives to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in clinical, educational, social work, or child development related field.
- Two years supervisory and/or management experience in social service or clinical environment.
- Will consider 4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of Master’s degree.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English. Able to read, write and speak both Spanish and English fluently.
