<p><strong>Position Summary: </strong>The position of School Psychologist supports the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being of students. They assess and address learning and behavioral issues, collaborate with educators, and help to design interventions for a positive school environment. Conducting assessments and advocating for students' mental health are key aspects of this role. Effective communication and a deep understanding of psychological principles are essential.</p>

<p><strong>Education/License/Certification:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution of higher education.</li>
<li>Current Active State License to practice School Psychology in South Carolina.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Experience/Requirements:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.</li>
<li>Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.</li>
<li>Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Responsive to requests.</li>
<li>Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.</li>
