Carthage Live Dispatcher 3rd shift FT

Job Details:

Hours of work: 11 pm to 7 am Sunday thru Thursday .  Holiday work is required and some weekend work. This position will perform any other duties assigned by Hatchery Manager. All Tyson policies and procedures must be followed to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. $17.45/hour. $1.00 Shift premium. Attendance Incentive offered.

This position will be responsible for multiple tasks relating to the dispatching and weighing of live haul trucks in and out of the facility.  This position will perform these duties according to a pre-scheduled plan but must possess the ability to make decisions based on current situations and prioritization.  Basic computer skills are required to perform data entry.  All Tyson Foods policies must be followed to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.  

Applicant must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility. Must show 3 months operator experience with one employer on application. Flexible scheduling. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Will be required to possess Basic Computer Skills of a windows-based program. Will be required to communicate with managers and Team Members both orally, verbally and in writing as required. Must be able to legibly write and properly document weigh ticket and load sheets as required.  Weigh master certification is required.  Knowledge of trucking procedures preferred but not required.
