Front Office Supervisor

Essential Functions: 

The Front Office Supervisor demonstrates capability to complete all scheduling / front office combination tasks.  In addition, the supervisor will be accountable to overseeing the front office operations, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, orientation / training of new employees, participation in evaluation process and maintaining a professional environment, and assisting with patient complaints. The supervisor will engage in activities resulting in proactive office visits. Upholds all HIPAA and other regulatory compliance and safety requirements.  

Requirements

Education:
High School Diploma or GED. 

License/ Certifications:
N/A 

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of scheduling experience in a medical office. 

Minimum of 2 billing experience in a medical office. 

Supervisory experience 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be proactive in identifying concerns/problem-solving. 

Must demonstrate ability to follow through on assignments. 

Must take the initiative to facilitate change. 

Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish without an interpreter.  

Demonstrates interpersonal/cultural sensitivity and work with a diverse and often underserved population.   

Effective written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization and with vendors. ? 

Competency in basic computer skills. 

Highly organized with strong time management skills, being able to perform simultaneous tasks and prioritize tasks effectively and follow through in a timely manner. 

 In addition, the incumbent may travel via personal vehicle throughout the community as well as between other Clinical facilities and departments
