About the Role

Support by coordinating and directing patient care and related activities of the facility according to accepted standards.  Works closely with administrative and medical staff in coordinating patient care service functions.  Responsible for the Company Vision “To be the prominent urology practice with a reputation for delivering excellent and effective care in all urologic modalities. By providing full-service urology to the patients and communities we serve, there will be greater satisfaction as well as patient and physician loyalty which will allow continued success and growth.”

What You’ll Be Doing

• Effectively organizes time, equipment, supplies and personnel

• Prepares daily personnel assignments which includes coverage for lunch and delegates duties according to experience and skill level

• Applies material management principles to establish procedures for use, cleaning and maintenance of patient care equipment and supplies

• Analyzes and evaluates the performance of the patient care staff and counsels as appropriate

• Reviews daily time and attendance sheets

• Oversees all nursing activities during an emergency to verify that patient needs are met

• Assists Facility staff in identifying and solving nursing care problems

• Applies accepted perioperative principles and practices to patient care activities in the Facility

• Assists with Infection Control Program

• Participates in primary care of patients as needed and makes rounds to verify that patients’ needs are met. 

What We Expect from You

• Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in healthcare management

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, current state licensure

• Perioperative Nursing experience

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing

• Management Experience in an ASC

• Knowledge of Regulatory and Accreditation Standards

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
