Flushmate has an immediate opening for an Assembler in our New Hudson, MI facility.  This position is responsible for producing products to meet company specifications for customer orders and/or production requirements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce quality products following company policies and procedures. Bag and/or pack proper quantities for customer orders or stock as instructed. Build a variety of sub-assemblies per production requirements.
• Works on assembly lines where tasks vary as different models of same article moves along. Test parts and assemblies using either air or water. Bolt, screw, clip or otherwise fasten parts together.
• “Quality at the Source” is the responsibility of every employee; this position is responsible for verifying and recording conformance of products to specifications for operations performed. Requires performance of verification methods including but not limited to use of standard equipment such as torque guns, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Set up various machines within the Assembly Department.
• Retrieve materials to complete assigned tasks and/or remove unnecessary materials from work area as necessary.
• Complete production reports as required.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Follows established procedures for completing work tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• <1 year Assembly experience
• Ability to troubleshoot simple machine problems
