Integrated Life Choices (ILC) is dedicated to supporting people throughout every stage of life through quality supports provided by quality people. ILC's goal is to empower others to live a fulfilling life by promoting active engagement in every aspect of life.


ILC has been operating throughout several cities in Colorado — including Denver, Centennial, Littleton, Elizabeth, and Colorado Springs — since 2014 and is excited to be expanding to new areas in Colorado. Our programs are provided under Home and Community Based Supports (HCBS), including SLS, DD, and CES services.


ILC is looking for a dedicated new team member with experience in the field to oversee operations in the Colorado Springs metro area as an Area Director. Area Directors at ILC lead our teams of dedicated employees in working to ensure that all individuals supported live a fulfilling life. An Area Director also works closely will company leadership on providing a positive culture for all employees.


Responsibilities Include:

  1. Conduct Quality Assurance activities and submit quarterly Quality Improvement reports and attend Quarterly QI meetings
  2. Provides agency leadership internally and externally through activities such as team building and networking.*
  3. Ensures fiscal responsibilities of each program by managing budgets and staffing ratios/staff generators.*
  4. Responsible for the overall monitoring of all programs and services provided by leading, managing and holding employees in your area accountable to ILC standards.*
  5. Interview, hire, and complete new hire paperwork as needed.
  6. Configure job expectations on direct reports.
  7. Ensure Managers are working the required direct support hours.
  8. Payroll for direct reports.
  9. Manage, analyze, and address overtime for decreasing trends.*
  10. Manage, analyze and address turnover increasing trends.*
  11. Conduct a SNAP audits monthly on each location in the area (group home and at day sites and ensure every location is GEM. 
  12. Lead and prepare weekly L10 meetings with direct reports & ensue direct reports are doing the same. 
  13. Completes performance reviews for employees supervised and reviews all corrective actions before issuing.*
  14. Participate in Area Director’s L-10 meeting weekly
  15. Review and approve GER’s for accuracy and timelines after Management comments
  16. Train Coordinators their responsibilities and expectations, conduct other trainings as needed (i.e. med aide.*
  17. Lead the area expansion and referral activities including the “Admission Committee” and referral process timelines and ultimate decisions.*
  18. Provides direct support as needed
  19. Conduct 1:1 meetings with each Coordinator monthly
    1. Discuss problem areas and create plan of actions to resolve
    2. Review and/or completed monthly job expectations 
    3. Discuss any current intakes and review transition forms
  20. Conduct/Assist investigations (ensure individuals protected from abuse/neglect and exploitation) and file timely reports.*
  21. Ensure all policies and procedures are properly followed and pass all training classes.
  22. Ensure Management of Personal Funds and all SS Representative Payee duties are performed per ILC Policy.*
  23. Ensure ILC Core Values: Dedication, Innovation, Support, Integrity and Professionalism are adhere to by all employees in the Area.*
  24. Strife to meet quarterly rocks and ensure direct reports are doing the same.*
  25. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (B.A/B.S.) from four-year college or university
  • 4-6 years of experience working with developmental disabilities and significant mental health issues
  • 1-2 years in a management role
  • Valid driver's license and current car insurance
  • Fluent in: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Quicken.
  • Experience with Therap preferred
  • Must be able to pass any background checks based on ILC policies
