The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our US Account Services (“AS”) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing various operational processes within our team to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Analyst will work closely with the AS Manager and cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, develop solutions, and implement changes to drive operational excellence.

How You'll Help Take Us There

  • Support the Account Services team with customer onboarding, relationship management, and the training of new users on the platform
  • Obtain knowledge of the MarketAxess platform and key products
  • Produce reports and presentations; perform ad-hoc data analysis to be used for internal and external stakeholders, including trend and performance analysis
  • Attend meetings with the Account Services team, including weekly update meetings, customer calls, and goal setting meetings 
  • Build a professional network with mentors, senior executives, and colleagues across regions and offices 
  • Gain the necessary skills to receive sponsorship for the requisite FINRA Operations Professional Examination (SIE, Series 99) if not already obtained
  • Analyze existing operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and communicate findings 
  • Provide ongoing support to the Account Services team

What We’re Looking for  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Series 99 preferred, required to be obtained within the first 6 months of the role
  • Knowledge of the fixed income markets, preferably investment grade, high yield, Emerging Markets, leveraged loans, credit derivatives and fixed income ETFs
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce and Microstrategy preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL Query and Programming/Coding is a plus
  • Confidence and comfort interacting with customers and senior leaders
  • Results-driven and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to tackle business problems with creative solutions
  • Strong relationship builder who values giving and receiving feedback and is agile and eager to learn
  • Analytical, quantitative, verbal and written communication skills
