Overnight Security Officer- Part Time/Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel

Description

· Patrol lobby, corridors, and common areas.

· Confer with management, interview guests, associates, and others to detect infringements, disturbances, complaints, theft, vandalism, etc.

· Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.

· Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons.

· Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.

· Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.

· Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.

· Enter and check rooms of guests suspected of nonpayment of bill to confirm suspicions and remove remaining personal property.

· Establish and supervise operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and fighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.

Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

Requirements

· Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.

· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.

· Ability to timely obtain a security license

· CPR training & first aid training required
