Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Management- SWG to join our Zscaler product team and have a direct impact on our roadmap. In this role, you will own one or more product areas and lead the design of solutions on Secure Web Gateway services, which is part of Zscaler's market leading SSE platform. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. This role consists of both inbound Product Management responsibilities – working with internal cross functional teams to build and enhance products – as well as outbound responsibilities, interacting with customers, executing go-to-market strategy and supporting sales.

Responsibilities

• This individual will be responsible for building product enhancements on Secure Web Gateway services on Zscaler
• Actively engage customers to review use cases and discuss technical requirements related to SWG, SSL inspection and other capabilities around a proxy based architecture. Create PRD/MRDs to define the technical requirements for the engineering teams.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and Engineering teams to implement requirements highlighted in the PRD on SWG platform.
• Work closely with customers for adoption and deployments of newly released functionality. Drive Beta testing and incorporate feedback to ensure new enhancements/features are able to address target use cases.
• Support Sales teams for sale and deployment of your products.
• Create business cases for new product initiatives and present them to the Zscaler executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in product management.
• Strong technical foundation in policy and network security technologies (Secure Web Gateway, SSL, Firewall, ZTNA etc.)
• Experience delivering products as cloud-based services.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners and executives.
• Solid experience with engaging technical teams to discuss use cases, review feature/function requirements and define solutions

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000 to $275,000 + equity + benefits.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
